Play Workshops

For Individuals

Let’s Play! Developing our ‘true self’ through playful expression.

“Play is the free expression of what is in the soul.” (Froebel)

How much is play a part of your life? Do you tend to disregard the importance of it? This workshop (or playshop) is an opportunity to reclaim your childhood sense of play, this wondrous natural ability we all have within us when we are born that may have diminished along the way. As well as having some inputs and discussion to prompt reflection on your relationship with play, you will have plenty of opportunity to discover more of your wonderful, unique, ‘true self’ through play – and have some fun!

For Teams

Is your team realising it’s full playful potential? What’s your Play Factor level?

Teams, at whatever stage of their development, can benefit from bringing the play factor into their work. The relational act of play lends itself to team development, right from the ‘forming’ stage enabling teams to come together and quickly lay the first foundations of trusting relationships; weathering the ‘storming’ stage with play diffusing the turbulence into ‘norming’ where play enables a flow of sharing and fosters the team’s creativity; stretching beyond this bringing play through to the ‘performing’ stage with a resulting authenticity and strong collective team presence whilst drawing on the diversity within the team. (Play also stands a team in good stead for ‘Mourning’ bringing play to end well, building capacity for the exploration, and enabling a smoother emotional transition to the new beginnings.)

All interventions with a team are tailored, from one-off to a programme of activities, to ensure the particular needs of that team are met. These playful spaces are held using experience of both facilitating team development and providing coaching in a corporate / organisational environment.

Everyone has something unique and valuable to offer – release the potential of this through play.
